Honoured to be featured - thanks so much Brother Young! Keen to read the articles in the rest of this issue and to meet more writers as well. Love that the AWC is amplifying our voices and experiences!
Kat, you put into words, things I have been thinking and feeling as it pertains to my relationship with my father. There is much healing for me that still needs to happen and your article definitely helped me to process.
You did a find job, Young. This is probably the first curation newsletter I've read (of only essays) where I wanted to read every one (if I haven't already). 😊 Thank you! And thank you Tiffany for continuing to help raise Asian voices, xo
Thank you for the feature, it means a lot to me! What a great curation of essays from others that I'll now binge, and I'm glad I could contribute towards the AWC.
Thank you for featuring my piece! I took a bit of a break from Substack and returned to find this and I'm so so appreciative :') Thank you for sharing and can't wait to see more from AWC.
Thank you so much, Brother Young, for featuring my piece in this deeply thoughtful and resonant curation! I really valued reading your reflections on my writing and perspective, as well as getting to know more about you and your own journey. Your poignant metaphor of how our encounters with the wall / force field that fixates on our external qualities ends up being felt by us as an internal blockade, made me catch my breath. What a powerful distillation of many of my experiences over years of being a first-generation immigrant in the UK and US. Thank you for sharing.
I’m sorry to be replying late to this wonderful post too, as I ended up needing to take an extended break from Substack due to life, but I’m looking forward to exploring the other pieces here (some from writers I already know and admire, and others I’m excited to get to know!).

Thank you for your words!
That brings me so much joy. I was about to say you have no idea. But of course, being you, you do 🕊️
You are too kind~
Thank you Kat!
Thank you so much for the feature – what an honour! Thank you for reading and sharing 🙏
Absolute stunner of a post! Keep on keeping on brother!

Lani, this compliment means the world. Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you glean much joy and even some insight from these reads.
Thank you for taking valuable time out of your day to read through these!
